Research

I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented my research at conferences nationally and internationally. The focus of my research is speech acquisition and the nature of speech sound disorders and intervention in monolingual English-speaking children and multilingual children.

However I also have publications in areas such as recognising language difference from disorder in multilingual children, phonological awareness and literacy, and preterm children’s language outcomes.

I was part of the research team that developed the DEAP:
Diagnostic Evaluation of Articulation and Phonology
